History

The UFC, short for Ultimate Fighting Championship, has moved from an obscure tournament to the leading organization in the growing sport of mixed martial arts. What started out as a violent and controversial bloodsport has grown into a legitimate sport akin to professional boxing. Some even predict that it will one day eclipse boxing as the world’s leading combat sport. It is already more popular in some markets amongst the 16-29 year old age demographic.
