Lesnar recently recovered from an illness and stepped into the ring with Shane Carwin. Carwin was the favorite, but Lesnar was able to turn the tables during the bout. Carwin was controlling the action until Lesnar put Carwin into a submission hold. Carwin tapped out after a few moments. Unfortunately, Carwin lost his next bout against Cain Velasquez in the first round. Lesnar should make a promising comeback sometime soon.

Georges St-Pierre is considered to be arguably the most well rounded mixed martial arts star within The UFC. St-Pierre is excellent in all departments. He can strike, wrestle, and employ deadly submission moves. St-Pierre defeated the well regarded Dan Hardy without being in any trouble during the fight. Many critics recently criticized St-Pierre for not having a killer’s instinct. St-Pierre addressed his critics by dominating Josh Koscheck. Koscheck was unable to put together any type of assault against St-Pierre.

A star was born when Jon Jones defeated Brandon Vera. No one had been able to dismantle Vera in the manner that Jones did. Jones is a sensational wrestler that is taking the division by storm.
